PawSquad already had customers and revenue. What it did not have was a platform that could keep up. We rebuilt the mobile app, the web app and the backend around the business that was already working, and stayed on as the team that keeps it growing.

PawSquad connects pet owners to licensed vets over video, any time, anywhere. By the time they came to us the business was real: paying customers, vets on the platform, a brand people trusted. The problem was underneath it.
The existing platform had been built for a smaller company than PawSquad had become. It was hard to change, hard to scale and starting to get in the way of the business. This is a different starting point from a blank-page idea, and in some ways a harder one: you cannot pause a live service to rebuild it.
A rebuild of a live product has one rule: nothing that works today can break tomorrow. Pet owners had to keep booking, vets had to keep consulting and the business had to keep running while we replaced the app, the web platform and the backend underneath them.
The data made it harder. Consultation records, pet histories and owner details are sensitive. They needed encrypted storage, access limited by role so vets and support staff only see what they should, and a log of who touched what. Not as a badge, but as the way the system actually works.
And it had to scale. A platform serving a growing customer base across web and mobile cannot fall over when demand spikes, and it cannot need a rewrite every time the business adds a service.
We did not throw the product away and start over. We mapped what customers relied on, what the business needed next and what was holding both back, then rebuilt in an order that kept the service running throughout.
One codebase for iOS and Android: pet profiles, booking a consultation, joining the video call, viewing history. Redesigned so a worried pet owner can get to a vet in a few taps.
Where vets and staff manage consultations, records and schedules, with role-based access so each person sees only what their job requires.
A new API built with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework on Microsoft SQL Server, with Firebase for real-time features and notifications. Built to handle far more load than the platform it replaced.
Encrypted storage for consultation records and owner data, role-based access for vets and staff, and audit logging across the platform.
After relaunch we stayed on. New features, performance work and the day-to-day engineering a growing platform needs, without PawSquad having to hire and manage an in-house team.
Data and compliance work shipped: Consultation records and owner data handled with encrypted storage, role-based access for vets and staff, and audit logging.

PawSquad relaunched on a platform built to grow. Today more than 100,000 pet owners use it and the business runs $10.8M a year through software we built and still maintain.
The rebuild happened without taking the service offline, and the partnership has continued past launch, which is what we care about more than the launch itself.
If your current app is holding your business back, you do not have to start from zero. We rebuild around what already works, keep the service live while we do it, and leave you with something your business can grow into instead of out of.
And if your product handles sensitive data, you should expect the people building it to treat that as an engineering requirement, not a marketing line. Ask us how we handled it here.

Two co-founders with no technical background wanted one place where Knoxville could find local events, restaurants and services. We took it from a conversation to the App Store and Play Store, with a verified business directory behind it.

Nico had a clear idea: help people organise their money and actually understand it. He did not have a developer. We ran discovery, designed the product and shipped a React Native app to both stores, with identity verification and bank account connection built in from day one.
